Well the ruse worked Neal thinking he was going to be chatting with a new customer who was running late got on the phone... my husband now furious at this point told him we want our money back... Neal had the audacity to tell my husband we could have the furniture on that following weekend!!! Do not go there.
I asked him for proof that he issued a credit for my mother-in-law's Visa and he told me to go to ***. The scheduled date comes around and at 4pm they are still a no show, no calls, no texts and no emails.
Well another couple weeks go by with no call, and still no furniture!

Recieved 6 beige chairs. we had literally no phone call or text message on the day they was meant to be bringing the sofa and decided to finally get in contact and say someone is 10 mins away at half 5 when we weren’t home.
Unfortunately, it was the biggest mistake.

I have recently purchased one of their reclining sofas thru Amazon, with less than 2 hours of sit time my 140 lb wife broke the back and the recliner stopped working. He claimed he never got any calls and no messages... After all this, he had the nerve to be rude during this phone call. My husband does a lot of flat pack furniture building and he said this is the worse thing he had ever come across!! On the plus side, the table is absolutely stunning so if you can get… Unfortunately in these days of high gas prices, decreasing freight transport companies and changing weather patterns, sometimes shipping furniture in from out of state is delayed.

I followed all the required directions of scheduling my delivery and took the day off of work because they give you a delivery window of 6am-6pm. Northeast Furniture Direct ranks 234 of 1465 in Furniture and Decor category. by Smarten up. I think they have larger issues to deal with than your late delivery. I was advised by Discover the credit could take 5-10 days or so to show and to call back daily to confirm it issued... well the 10th day (12/23/07) and still NO CREDIT so I call back "Neal" who tells me that "it probably didn't go through" and I should just "cancel my credit card". We received the same treatment as the other complaintants ie..he never delivered the mattress and wouldn't take our calls.

by Please first ensure your purchase was made from Furniture Direct Ltd and not a company with a similar name. Over the next couple of days we called back both numbers numerous times from a bunch of different phones..seeing that "Neal" was obviously avoiding us now. We immediately called Neal, numerous times and were not able to get him on the phone, with no return calls from the messages we left.
Second team were shocked at workmanship and repaired it best they could . Northeast Furniture Direct reviews (www.nefurnituredirect.com): Other Product Review. Always say we will call you back been 4 days now. My husband and I are looking for several furniture pieces and were excited to make an appt with NFD and will now steer very clear of this company!!
Well two weeks came and gone... no furniture.... We get a call from "Neal" who informs us that the furniture was in however the "headboard" was damaged and asked if we would like the other pieces delivered and the headboard would follow soon after. All was well until it came to arrange delivery, at first I was offered 8am in a morning when I was working. Review #424952 is a subjective opinion of poster. I told him I would meet him there so he can "swipe" the card and give me my money back... he said he would not be available until 12/27. by I stated I would like ALL THE PIECES delivered at the same time rather than wait for the headboard to come on a later date.
The algorithm is subject to change in future. Immediately after giving him the account number I canceled the account with Discover since fearing what Neal could do with that information.
We made the appointment and met with "Neal". !…
Movers themselve say we have no paperwork we will call you back. No office to report complaints to.

I had to chase the delivery to be informed that a wardrobe had come in damaged and it would take a further 2 weeks.

Many thanks, Furniture Direct Ltd, As soon as i ordered the bedroom furniture at the end of July, I has advised that the order would be delayed due to factory shut down.
We were so happy with our purchase through Homelegance. My husband calls the business number (that is on the web site and on the business card) and gets a woman's answering machine stating "Hi you've reached Molly, leave me a message".... We were shocked!!! Awfull delivery service how many lies do you have to listen to. !I ordered a couch through Amazon from Homelegance and they chose to utilize Ceva Logistics as their carrier to deliver my purchase. What a lowlife. We ended up purchasing a bedroom set on that day, (November 11th, 2007) and PAID IN FULL with a Discover Credit Card.
Such a waste of time and money. They took my money fast enough, i would never use this company again… I would not reccomend using this coampany…
