So Red Dead Redemption 2, while being a pricier option, tends to get more favorable ⭐ reviews than the $21 Assassin's Creed Origins, as seen on the chart below. RDR2 is better than both imo. Unfortunately, I’ll have to call a tie on this one, as both are mixed for me and have a similar ratio. I haven't played AC. It could have been a Red Herring on that email, though most of those are more noticeable like a 12th century Egyptian game (that clearly did not come to fruition—Origins is set in the time of the new millennia). In that game, images teased a Egypt, Greece, and Japan setting—but clearly something's amiss. The Wapiti Indian Reservation, in particular, is a nice, unique place for it to include. Witcher 3 vs Red Dead Redemption 2 vs Assassins Creed Origins (PC versions) I think these 3 games are the best open worlds with RPG elements in the history of PC gaming (RDR 2 soon) I love all of them but my heart stay with witcher because I am passioned about witcher-verse. Unlike Origins, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey puts a much greater emphasis on traversing the sea. Initially, some were even suspect of what such a game could even look like, as its general setting didn't really match the more "urban" aspects of the franchise, but Black Flag, Origins, and Odyssey prove that the need for cities isn't something set in stone. So for me it’s everything I could’ve wished for. However, Red Dead Redemption 2 may have an unsuspecting influence on the future of Assassin's Creed.
