We only attended a few (3 or 4) buildings that had actual ghost stories, perhaps Toronto doesn't have many ghosts. I wasn't sure of what to expect with this tour of the Estate.

The interior can be viewed on a one-hour guided tour and, although some of the rooms are in need of renovation, it is a very lovely house, fully furnished with articles from the Thompson family who built and occupied it for five generations. May-Oct.: First Sat. Definitely worth touring.

Our tour guide, William, was both hilarious and enlightening. This particular jaunt I wanted to rate 3 stars but didn't have the heart to do it since usually they are quite good.
